Wash Day uses the The Green Environment Company's products as part of our Wash and Fold Service.
The Green Home Outfitters supplies us with our laundry detergent and softener, cleaners & spot remover, powered with chemical-free whiteners. Here's what these products offer you:
- A naturally derived laundry detergent made primarily from replenishable natural resources.
- Cleans, softens, brightens, whitens, deodorizes and removes stains.
- Extremely concentrated.
- Non-caustic to extend fabric life.
- Outperforms soaps, other naturally derived detergents and homemade products.
- Non-hazardous, biodegradable, non-toxic and specially formulated to be non-irritating to skin.
- Normal load uses only two ounces per load, so is less expensive than other laundry detergents.
We keep Wash Day laundry spotlessly clean using several other products: Super Citrus Cleaner; Basin, Tub & Tile Cleaner; Clinging Toilet Bowl Cleaner; Hand Soap; Glass & Window Cleaner; Spray and Wipe Cleaner Concentrate; and our machines are cleaned using a special stainless steel cleaner.
We aim to minimize the impact of laundrys on the environment by using less water and washing in cold water to save on utility costs. Our laundry features Duration paint; eco-friendly flooring and low wattage, Energy Star qualified fluorescent lighting; and it's kept clean throughout the day using non-carcinogenic and non-mutagenic cleaning products.
Wash Day qualified for Austin's Commercial Wash Wise Rebate Program by installing water and energy-saving washing machines.
